Summer 2022: Robotics Bootcamp
Her Computing and Phillips Exeter Academy’s internationally recognized First Tech Challenge team are hosting a bootcamp for Robotics and Java Programming.
An intensive 5-day, 15 hours virtual camp!
When: August 1 – August 5, 2022 from 1-4 PM ET
Who: Grades 6-9
Cost: $75 registration fees (financial aid available)

Spring 2021: Robotics Learning Series
Her Computing and Phillips Exeter Academy’s internationally recognized First Robotics VERTEX team hosts a Robotics Learning Series covering Basic CADing, Java Basics, Java Intermediate, USACO

Summer 2020: Power Coding
Her Computing Coding Camp is returning for the second time after our inaugural launch last summer when we hosted 55 students Grade 1-10. Every day students will team up to solve complex coding challenges. Each course is designed to get you ready to solve real-world problems, participate in hackathons, and continue your coding journey after the camp!
When: July 20-24 & July 27-31, 2020 from 9-3 PM ET
Who: Grades 1-10
Cost: $99 for 15 hours of class (financial aid available)

Summer 2019: Coding Camp
Her Computing is hosting it’s inaugural coding camp for students in Millburn-Short Hills and surrounding communities . Funds raised will be used to buy computers, sponsor teacher literacy, and fund after-school programs in communities under-represented in technology.
When: August 5-8, 2019 from 9-3 PM ET
Who: Grades 1-10
Cost: $40 for 24 hours of class (financial aid available)

55 students ranging from second to tenth grade spent four days to learn how fun and easy it is to get involved in computer programming.
5-Day Coding Camp Curriculum
A 5-day coding camp curriculum open-sourced for others to host coding camps. Its designed using our hands-on experience from hosting four annual camps; receive everything you need from planning to operationalizing the camp.
The curriculum is two-parts;
Part I – Curriculum with Gimkits (Game Development & Web Development)
Part II – Operations: sample flyers and advertising strategy, managing registrations and class assignments, info session presentations, camp day logistics, instructor evaluation form, certificates for completion, and more!
This curriculum can be used to introduce computational thinking and coding to students in K-8 during school breaks, after-school clubs, and to self-learn.
